In my family, nothing was ever thrown away because it could always be used for something else, and as soon as things were fixed, it was time to move on. This nomadic make-do-and-mend spirit has a practical influence on my work.
The photographs in this series are moments collected on my everyday journeys both at home and abroad over a period of several years. They mediating the constant tension between holding on and letting go.
